The Verdict
The original R8 was a great entry point into full-frame, but the lack of IBIS and an AF joystick kept many creators on the fence. By adding 5-axis IBIS, dedicated multi-controller focus selection, pre-capture, and filmlike color profiles, the R8 Mark II becomes one of the most capable compact hybrid full-frame cameras on the market.
