







The Classic Motorcycle Club of Natal (CMCN)
- History: The club was established in February 1981 after an advertisement by founder Mike Lang brought local vintage motorcycle enthusiasts together at Albert Park. After meeting briefly at the Mayville Hotel, the club eventually built and moved into its permanent clubhouse on the Bluff in 1986.

- Monthly Gatherings: Members and vintage bike owners gather at the Bluff clubhouse on the first Saturday of each month.
- Breakfast Runs: Regular social breakfast rides to various scenic destinations around KwaZulu-Natal.
- The Natal Classic: The club’s flagship event—a grueling and prestigious reliability and regularity trial covering roughly 500 km for motorcycles at least 20 years old, often stretching through the Drakensberg and into the Free State.
- Focus: The preservation, restoration, dating, and riding of classic and vintage motorcycles, alongside fostering a community of like-minded vintage mechanics and riders.
